This will be a great opportunity to get familiar with future career / academics / research, while learning leadership, camaraderie, and friendship! Q&A Panel   Nano Town Hall and Senior Sendoff

NETS would like to invite you to our Q&A Nano Panel, which will provide an opportunity for undergraduates to ask questions regarding nanoengineering to a broad panel of graduating seniors, grad students, and professors. This will allow students with a great way to voice their concerns, misconceptions, and interests regarding the major. Come and be part of the conversation! Coffee and donuts will be provided!

Stormwater Sensor/Filter Project Information Session  

Seminar - Fantastic Voyage

Come to the information session about our project to design a heavy metal sensor and water filter for the UCSD sewage system!

 

The team will be working with UCSD Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Scripps Institute of Oceanography, and industry companies. The finished project will be submitted to the Clinton Global Initiative University Competition (CGIU).

Our student-faculty mixer was held on Friday, November 9th at 3:00-4:30p in the Cymer Conference Room.

We had around 10 professors, some NE staff, and over 35 NE students show up. Check out the pictures here!

 

Our Grad & Post-doc Panel was held on Thursday, November 29th at 5:00-6:30p in the Cymer Conference Room.

Our very knowledgeable and friendly panel of UCSD graduate students and post-doc answered many questions about graduate school life, applications, opportunities, industry relations, research, financial situations, and many other important experiences they had.

Our social was held on Friday, October 12 at 7:00p at Marshall Field.

We played a few intense games of Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag, then went out to grab some Korean Food at Convoy St. Fun!
